Blurb: Sculpture in clay is Kat’s escape to a fantasy world of cute animals, weird little people and sinuous female forms. Sometimes she makes a basic shape on the potter’s wheel and transforms it into something else. In the space of a year she has collected four kilns: a Raku rubbish bin kiln, a tiny plug-in electric kiln, a larger electric kiln and a gas top-hat kiln. Maybe she’ll build a wood fire kiln one day.
