I learnt as a teenager that every piece of wood has its own destiny. Each piece has its own faults, flaws and hidden tensions that emerge when worked. I may start to create one thing but if I listen and watch, the timber may tell me how to create a more beautiful piece. These pieces are available at our Hampton Wood and Art Studio.
