Blurb: Bruce has both practical and formal qualifications, having learnt from some of the best in the world in watercolour. He is an emotive artist searching for mood, atmosphere, storyline and the pursuit of light, focusing on traditional semi-realism juxtaposed with impressionism in watercolour. Bruce was Runner Up in the Professional Section of the Watercolour Society Queensland 2025, a selected winning finalist for the 3rd International Budapest Art Show 2025, and won First in Watercolour at the Toowoomba Royal Show 2025, as well as Grand Champion of Paintings in 2022 and 2023. He was Artist in Residence at Falls Creek in 2025, is a CQU graduate, past McGregor and AOTB tutor, prize-winning artist, exhibitor and sought after for commissions and workshops.
